Scuti showcases your imported or customers’ reviews on product pages using a beautiful review widget. While we offer a great combination of colors and elements for both light and dark themes, we also offer a full set of customizations so that you can customize the widget’s layout, colors & fonts, and elements to match your theme’s look.
All product review widget customization should be set up from Reviews -> Display Widgets -> Product Review Widget, on the left menu of the Scuti app:
In this tutorial, we will show you how to customize the (1) widget’s layout, (2) widget’s colors & fonts, and (3) show/hide widget’s elements.
Review widget’s layout
Scuti offer two types of layout:
- Grid: The grid layout shows multiple reviews (i.e., multiple columns) per row. You can decide whether you want to have 2, 3, or 4 reviews (columns) in each review.
- List: The list layout shows only one review in each row. In other words, each review is displayed under the other review.
Review widget’s Colors and fonts
Scuti offers two great combinations of colors that work best for Light and Dark themes, as shown below, that you can choose from if you don’t want to do the customization by yourself.
However, you can still change the font of all texts, star color, and the color of every other element in the review widget. Select “Custom” and change the color by either inserting the color code or dragging the color picker chart.
Show or hide review widget’s elements
You can also decide which element of the review widget should be shown or hidden. You can decide to whether show the whole Review Wiget (with and without having a review), Write a review button, Sorting button, and Rating distribution (i.e., the breakdown of the reviews). Simply select your choice from the drop-down menu for each element.
